Women's Tag Team Championship Not Happening Yet According To Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon says WWE wants to do a women's tag team division but not yet. 

On Raw, fans knew Stephanie McMahon would be appearing on Raw to make a historic announcement. With her history of making announcements regarding the women's division and some other rumors, fans were expecting the revelation of an all women event and perhaps a women's tag team Championship. Stephanie McMahon only announced the pay-per-view which will be called Evolution

In an interview with Sky Sports, she was asked about the women's tag team division and when it might happen. 

"Not quite yet but that's absolutely something we've heard loud and clear from our fan base and it's something we're keen on implementing as soon as we are able to," said McMahon. 

In the rest of the interview, Stephanie McMahon talked about the origin of the 50 women event which will take place on October 28th. The matches will features wrestlers from all of WWE's brands, every women's Championship will be defended, and the Mae Young Classic finals will take place. Stephanie McMahon was asked if she would be wrestling at Evolution and she said the priority is placed on the wrestlers.
