A new title bout has been added to MLW's upcoming TV tapings.
As first revealed by the company in a press release, MLW Women's World Featherweight Champion Taya Valkyrie is set to defend her title against Zoey Skye at the upcoming Blood & Thunder event in January 2023. This will be Valkyrie's fifth defense of the belt, which she originally won back in May 2022.

(PHILADELPHIA) — Major League Wrestling today announced a Women’s World Featherweight Championship: Taya Valkyrie vs. Zoey Skye at MLW Blood & Thunder on Saturday, January 7 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Tickets start at $15 at MLW2300.com and the 2300 Arena box office.
The card is a FUSION TV taping, airing on beIN SPORTS nationwide on cable and dish, streaming on Pro Wrestling TV, and in over 60 countries around the world.A championship bout has been inked for January 7th as the reigning Women’s World Featherweight Champion Taya Valkyrie will make her third defense as the inaugural champion.

Skye, a decorated athlete, is a technical threat who leverages her size to create a lethal, compact fighting style, often throwing off larger adversaries.
Standing just 5’ and weighing 99 lbs., Skye is the smallest female athlete in the division, but next to the champ, the most experienced.
