WWE Announces Kendal Grey Is Out Of Action For Foreseeable Future

Kendal Grey is sidelined.

It was at the 2026 NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event that Kendal Grey put the NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Kelani Jordan. Jordan emerged victorious and ended Grey’s reign.

An update on Grey was provided by commentator Vic Joseph on the 9/1 WWE NXT on The CW. Grey had already been dealing with equilibrium issues because of a laceration she suffered in an NXT Underground match against Lola Vice.

At Heatwave, she was thrown into an exposed turnbuckle, and Joseph shared that Grey is dealing with vertigo. He added that she’s out of action for the foreseeable future.

Grey was NXT Women’s Champion for 63 days. She had three defenses of the belt.
