WWE Fastlane Results Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan, Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus

Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for WWE Fastlane!

Kickoff Show

Lee McAteer: Joe Hendry Is Absolutely Fantastic, He Deserves Every Single Thing He's Getting

- We open tonight's kickoff show with a video package for the No Holds Barred match between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

- We get a video package for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match what will be kicking off the main show.

- We get a video package for the inter gender match between Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss.

- We get a video package for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match between the champion Big E and the challenger Apollo Crews. Sonya Deville then joins on the commentary desk and talks about the new sides Apollo and E are showing before predicting that E wins.

- We get a video package for the feud between Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman before we see that Shane was injured earlier today before we are told that he's with medical and his match with Braun is up in the air.

- We get a video package for the grudge match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura before we go backstage to an interview with Seth who says that he's disappointed in Shin. Seth says that he figured Shin would respect him, but he's just as bad as Cesaro and that he's going to teach him a lesson in respect.

WWE United States Championship Match
Riddle (c) vs Mustafa Ali (w/ Retribution)

Ali immediately gets out of the ring and takes his find getting back in before backing Riddle into the corner and Riddle takes Ali down before kneeing him in the ribs. Riddle hits a gut wrench suplex into a senton for two before Ali counters a senton attempt and spins Riddle into the post before dropkicking him out of the ring and down onto the floor. Back in the ring Ali hits a kitchen sink before countering the Bro-Derek into a shotgun dropkick that sends Riddle face first into the middle turnbuckle. Riddle misses a running splash in the corner before Ali hits a back stabber for two before Riddle counters a cutter into a sleeper before Ali gets a near fall when he rolls backwards. Riddle hits a Pele kick into several running forearms in the corner into an exploder and a PK before hitting a powerbomb into the Final Flash for a near fall.

Ali gets his knees up when Riddle goes for the Floating Bro before hitting a fisherman's buster for a near fall before Ali locks in a Koji Clutch. Riddle then slams Ali into the mat to get free before crotching Riddle on the top and Riddle hits an avalanche Bro-Derek for the pin and the win.

Winner: Riddle retains his United States Championship by defeating Mustafa Ali via pinfall.

- After the match Ali yells at his subordinates before Reckoning and Slapjack leave and Mace and T-Bar hit Ali with a double chokeslam before leaving.

- We get an extended video package for the Universal Championship match between the champion Roman Reigns and the challenger Daniel Bryan.

Main Show

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax (w/ Reginald) (c) vs Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair

Sasha and Shayna start the match off before Sasha and Bianca double team Shayna and chain together frequent tags and offense before Bianca hits a standing moonsault for two. Bianca gets a series of one counts before Shayna knees her in the face and Nia tags herself in before Bianca backs Nia into the corner with strikes and tags in Sasha. Sasha hits a tilt-a-whirl before Nia runs her over for two before Bianca gets the blind tag and Sasha hits a head scissors into a basement dropkick by Bianca. Nia knocks Bianca off of the apron and tags in Shayna who beats Bianca down and pulls her into the corner as the champions isolate the number one contender for Sasha's Smackdown Women's title at Wrestlemania. Sasha gets the hot tag and hits a meteora into the corner before sending Nia out of the ring and Sasha locks in the Banks Statement before Nia shoves Bianca into Sasha to break the hold.

Sasha then takes out Reginald at ringside before Sasha and Bianca argue before Bianca gets out of the ring and Shayna rolls Sasha up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax retain their WWE Women's Tag Team titles by defeating Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair via pinfall.

- After the match Sasha and Bianca argue before Sasha drops Bianca with a slap and leaves her in the ring.

- We go backstage to Shane on a crutch before Elias and Jaxson Ryker show up and walk down the hallway with him as Elias lobbies to perform at Wrestlemania.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Big E (c) vs Apollo Crews

E spears Apollo through the ropes and hits a splash onto the apron before hitting several overhead suplexes before Apollo dropkicks his knee and hits a trio of German suplexes. Apollo stomps E and chokes him before hitting a spine buster into a frog splash for two before rocking E with a pair of enzuigiri before E gets his knees up when Apollo goes for a standing moonsault. They then counter each other before exchanging pin attempts until E pins Apollo for the win.

Winner: Big E retains his Intercontinental championship by defeating Apollo Crews via pinfall.

- After the match Apollo attacks E and lays him out with an Olympic slam before standing over the fallen E and leaving as he says that it's not over.

- We go to the ring to to Elias and Jaxson with Shane before Shane informs Elias that he's taking his place in his match against Braun.

Braun Strowman vs Elias (w/ Jaxson Ryker & Shane McMahon)

Elias does his best to dodge Braun early before Jaxson distracts Braun and Braun backs Elias into the corner before hitting him with back elbows and tossing him across the ring. Braun sends Elias into the post repeatedly before choking him in the ropes and dropping Elias with a clubbing blow before Elias comes back with a DDT. Elias then hits a diving elbow drop for a near fall before Braun hits a chokeslam into a running powerslam for the pin and the win.

Winner: Braun Strowman defeats Elias via pinfall.

- Backstage Riddle tries to convince Shinsuke to join his business idea of modifying scooters. Shin then hides when Riddle starts telling a story before Riddle leaves on his scooter.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Seth Rollins

Shin drops Seth before Seth counters a body lock and kicks Shin before dumping him out of the ring and hitting a flying knee off of the apron before smashing his face into the announce table. Back in the ring Seth knees Shin in the midsection and hits a gut buster for one before driving him into the corner and whipping him into the opposite corner. Seth hits a backbreaker for two before grounding Shin with a body lock and Shin elbows his way free before locking in an armbar and Seth gets to the ropes for the break. Shin hits a baseball slide and hits a running knee before hitting a diving knee and tosses Seth back inside before kicking him in the chest and hitting Good Vibrations in the corner. Seth counters an exploder and slings Shin off of the top and down onto the floor before hitting a suicide dive and tossing Shin back inside before hitting a springboard knee.

Seth hits a sling blade for two before Shin counters a falcon arrow and they exchange strikes until Shin hits a sliding German. Seth counters a Kinshasa into a buckle bomb and a falcon arrow for two before Shin counters a curb stomp into a landslide before Seth drops Shin with an innovative kick. Seth then finishes Shin with a curb stomp for the pin and the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins defeats Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall.

- We get a vignette for Rhea Ripley who is set to make her main roster debut on tomorrow night's edition of RAW.

No Holds Barred Match
Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus

The two brawl before they end up outside and Sheamus drives Drew into the barricade before Drew hits an overhead suplex onto the floor and sends Sheamus into the post. Drew sends Sheamus into the steps and tosses him back inside before Sheamus drops him when he brings a kendo stick into the ring before hitting Drew across the back with it. Drew headbutts Sheamus and boots him before wearing the kendo stick out on Sheamus and hitting a side Russian leg sweep before driving it into his eye. Drew knocks Sheamus out of the ring and Sheamus sends Drew into the steps before hitting him in the face with them before they end up on the other side of the barricade. They end up in the back of the arena among the screens before Sheamus hits a rolling senton onto the floor and Drew tosses Sheamus through a block of screens as smoke and sparks shoot up off of the floor.

Drew brings Sheamus back to the ring on a luggage crate before suplexing him back over the barricade and onto the floor before Sheamus boots him over the barricade. Sheamus then hits White Noise off of the barricade and through the announce table before Drew hits the Future Shock DDT onto a piece of the desk in the ring and finishes him with the Claymore for the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre defeats Sheamus via pinfall.

Randy Orton vs Alexa Bliss

A wall of fire comes up when Randy rushes Alexa before he spills out of the ring and stalks Alexa around ringside before a lighting rig falls from the ceiling and nearly hits Randy. Back in the ring Alexa throws a fire ball at Randy who blocks it before the ring splits and a hand grabs Randy before The Fiend comes out of the ring. Alexa then dropkicks Randy into The Fiend who hits him with Sister Abigail before Alexa covers him for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss defeats Randy Orton via pinfall.

WWE Universal Championship Match
Roman Reigns (c) vs Daniel Bryan w/ Special Guest Enforcer Edge

DB tries to take Roman down with a single leg before Roman gets to the ropes for the break before Roman backs him into the ropes for the break before Daniel turns it around and backs off. Roman backs Daniel into the corner before cheap shotting Daniel and Daniel goes for a heel hook before Roman gets to the ropes for the break. They lock up before DB locks in an armbar and Roman rolls to the ropes for the break before DB kicks Roman in the legs and Roman drops him with a right hand. DB focuses on the arm of Roman before Roman drives him into the corner and hits him with clotheslines in the corner before hitting a tilt-a-whirl slam for two. Roman suplexes DB for two as Edge looks on at ringside before Roman boots Daniel and stomps him before sending him into the barricade.

Roman tosses DB back inside before hitting a running clothesline in the corner before whipping him into the corner and DB hits a drop toe hold. DB hits a running dropkick in the corner before Roman counters a frankensteiner into a Boston crab before DB counters into a small package before they drop each other. DB sends Roman over the top rope and onto the floor before Roman lands on his feet and catches DB when he goes for a suicide dive before DB sends him into the post. DB hits a flying knee off of the apron before tossing Roman back inside and hitting a diving knee before hitting a missile dropkick. Daniel kicks Roman in the chest before Roman catches a kick and backs him into the corner before rocking him with a right hand and kneeing him repeatedly in the corner.

Roman counters a take down before Daniel counters a powerbomb into a head scissors and a roundhouse kick for two. Daniel stomps Roman and locks in the Yes Lock before Roman breaks the hold and powerbombs DB for a near fall before DB takes out the referee. Roman spears Daniel as Edge comes in and counts the pin for a near fall before Daniel locks in the Yes Lock and Jey Uso comes in and superkicks Edge and Daniel. Jey brings a chair into the ring and sends Edge into the post before DB takes out Jey with a flying knee before hitting him with a chair. Daniel accidentally hits Edge with the chair before countering a spear into the Yes Lock before Edge attacks both Daniel and Roman with a chair.

Edge then lays Daniel out with the chair before leaving as Roman covers him for the pin to retain his title.

Winner: Roman Reigns retains his WWE Universal Championship by defeating Daniel Bryan via pinfall.
