An NXT superstar will be making their way to All Japan Pro Wrestling in 2024.
Over the last few weeks, the Japanese promotion have been promoting a new challenger, dubbed as an 'assasin', for the AJPW Triple Crown Championship following the upcoming title match between champion Katsuhiko Nakajima and challenger Kento Miyahara on January 3rd.
Now, on December 23rd, the company have revealed that this talent will be one from WWE NXT, as in video posted on AJPW's socials, the companies president Tsuyoki Fukuda spoke on the phone with an inidentified caller. In the conversation, Fukuda would tell his conversation partner to give WWE NXT his thanks for sending a "strong superstar".

The bout between Nakajima and Miyahara will take place on December 31. They will face the "NXT assassin" on January 3.
This is not the first time WWE will have worked with a Japanese promotion in recent memory, as earlier this year Shinsuke Nakamura would make his way to NOAH for The Great Muta's final matchup on New Year's Day.
As of this writing, it is unknown what NXT superstar will make their way over to All Japan Pro Wrestling. Fightful will provide updates on who will be making their way to Japan as the news becomes available.
