WWE started the Clash of Champions kickoff show with breaking news.
Following reports that surfaced this afternoon that changes would be coming to the WWE Clash of Champions card, WWE reported at the start of the event that Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and Nikki Cross are all not medically cleared to compete and their matches have since been scrapped from the show.
Bayley, who was set to defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against Cross will be on the show later tonight to address the situation regarding that championship.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match is completely removed from the card and it is said that that situation will be addressed tomorrow night on Monday Night Raw.
As a result, the WWE Raw Women's Championship match featuring Asuka defending her championship against Zelina Vega has been moved to the main show and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match has been moved to the kickoff event, which you can watch at this link.
