WWE Smackdown! Results 4/4: A New Venomous Reign Begins & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live! We are just 48 hours removed from the Ultimate Thrill Ride and tonight The Viper Randy Orton begins his reign as WWE World Champion for the ninth time! After defeating Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania it's safe to say that AJ Styles will be looking to get his long over due rematch and what becomes of the Eater of Worlds? -We open the broadcast with a video package for all of the Smackdown branded matches from Wrestlemania this past Sunday.

Dustin Rhodes Announces He's Signed A New Multi-Year Deal With AEW

-We open in the arena with Randy Orton coming down to the ring and talking about his victory at Wrestlemania this past Sunday where he became the nine time WWE Champion when he defeated Bray Wyatt. Randy says that he is Bray's master and he will never forget his name before we see Bray on the tron. Bray says Randy is the master of nothing and his era has only begun and that he has his rematch coming and that he has something very special planned for him. Bray says that he challenges Randy to what he calls a "House of Horrors Match, Randy saying that he accepts even though he has no idea what it is and tells Bray to come down to the ring and everything goes dark before he appears behind him. Bray attacks Randy from behind, but Randy powerslams him, then Erick Rowan comes out of no where and attacks him before Luke Harper comes out and brawls with him.

-Randy and Luke clear the ring as Bray and Rowan leave, then we have Miz and Maryse being interviewed about their match against Cena and Nikki, saying that Cena had to propose to save face and that they are calling them out tonight because they might never get the chance again with the WWE Superstar Shake-Up next week as we go to commercial.

Naomi vs Alexa Bliss WWE Smackdown! Women's Championship Match

Alexa goes right after Naomi and stomps her in the corner before pulling her down by her hair for a quick one count, then Naomi hits her with a face buster into the second turnbuckle that sends her out of the ring. Naomi then hits a dropkick before tossing things into the crowd as we go to commercial.

Alexa stomps on Naomi as we come back, then puts her in a leg stretching submission before she gets out of it.by crawling to the ropes. Alexa keeps focusing on the left leg of Naomi, then Naomi rolls her up for a near fall before Naomi hits a variation of a GTS that nearly misses Alexa for a near fall. Naomi hits a hip attack for a near fall, then a step up enzuigiri before Alexa yanks her off of the top rope. Naomi then locks in a submission for the tap and the win.

Winner: Naomi via pinfall

Tye Dillinger vs Curt Hawkins

Tye plays to the crowd early, then Curt comes back with a series of moves before he plays to the crowd. Tye chops him repeatedly, then drops him with shoulder blocks as the crowd chants ten repeatedly. Tye hits Curt repeatedly in the corner to continue the chants, then hits The Tye Breaker for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tye Dillinger via pinfall

-We come back to Mojo being interviewed about winning the Andre The Giant Battle Royale. Next we get a recap of Vince on RAW, then see The Miz and Maryse coming out to the ring as we go to commercial.

-The Miz & Maryse come out dressed like Cena and Nikki. Miz mocks Cena, playing a robotic version of him and Maryse playing the same ditsy version of her that she did in the videos.Miz then says that Cena and Nikki are leaving WWE and going to Hollywood and are going to be gone a very long time before starting a no more Cena chant We then have a violinist playing as Shinsuke Nakamura comes out to a massive pop from the crowd who sings his theme song for at least five minutes straight as we go to commercial.

Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin Street Fight Match

Corbin stomps on Dean in the corner, then smashes his head into the turnbuckle before stomping him again and dropping him with an STO. Corbin grabs a chair, then Dean dives through the ropes and sends Baron over the announce table before slamming him into the barricade and sending him into the crowd as we go to commercial. We come back to tables and chairs in the ring now, then Corbin spears Dean through a table before hitting him with a strap. Corbin sets a chair up in the corner, but Dean side steps him and Corbin goes head first into the chair before they exchange forearms after Corbin counters Dirty Deeds. Dean comes back and drops Corbin repeatedly before whipping him with the strap and sending him over the top rope, diving onto him with an elbow drop off of the top rope and to the floor. Dean sets Corbin on a table at ringside and elbow drops him through it before he rolls Corbin back in the ring and gets caught on the top rope before Corbin hits The End of Days for the pin and the win.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall

-Shane McMahon comes out as we come back from commercial, Shane thanking the crowd and talking about what happened last night on RAW where his father announced the WWE Superstar Shake-Up next week. AJ comes out and interrupts him, saying that he doesn't want to go anywhere and that everyone knows that Smackdown! Live is the house that AJ Styles built. AJ shakes Shane's hand, then acts like he's going to attack him before posing and leaving. 

Randy Orton & Luke Harper vs Bray Wyatt & Erick Rowan

Randy and Rowan start it off with Randy teasing an RKO early, but Rowan counters with a roundhouse kick that drops Randy and sends him out of the ring as we go to commercial.

Randy tags in Luke after Bray is tagged in, then Luke drops Bray from the apron before hitting a sling shot senton, Luke diving through the ropes and taking out Rowan and sending him over the announce table before Bray clotheslines him to the floor. They get back in the ring and Rowan and Bray double team Luke before he almost tags in Randy, but Rowan won't let him. Rowan sets Luke on the top rope and smashes him with clubbing blows before mocking Randy, then dropkicks Luke before tagging Bray back in. Luke powers out of a headlock, then Randy gets tagged in and hits his draping DDT before he teases an RKO. The Lights go out and Bray is on the ramp as Randy RKO's Rowan for the pin and the win.

Winner: Randy Orton & Luke Harper via pinfall
