A new tournament will begin on the March 5th episode of WWE Speed.
During the February 26th episode of WWE Speed, WWE announced a new WWE Speed Number One Contender's Tournament would begin on the March 5th episode.
In the first round, Dominik Mysterio will face Chris Sabin, and Ivar will face NXT's Yoshiki Inamura. The winner of the tournament will challenge Dragon Lee for the WWE Speed Championship.

In recent months, Inamura has been competing on NXT as part of NXT's partnership with Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Lee recently defended the WWE Speed Championship against Chad Gable.
