WWE TLC Results - Finn Balor vs AJ Styles, The Return of Kurt Angle, Asuka's Main Roster Debut & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for the WWE RAW branded event; WWE TLC. Problems abounded this week in WWE and several superstars won't be on the show tonight, but by the time the show is through it may have been a blessing in disguise. In our main event have a special cross branded match as AJ Styles from Smackdown! Live will take on RAW's Finn Balor, Asuka will make her main roster debut and Kurt Angle will return to a WWE ring for the first time in nearly a decade. Grudge Match Added To Monday's WWE Raw

-We get a satellite interview segment with The Miz where he talks about how the Miztourage will defeat the Shield and send Kurt Angle back into retirement. Emma is then interviewed backstage about her match against the debuting Asuka later tonight. We come back from commercial to a sit down interview backstage with Mickie about her title match against Alexa Bliss later tonight.

-We get a satellite interview segment with AJ Styles we here he talks to the commentators about his match against Finn Balor later tonight and how he's excited to face him for the first time.

Sasha Banks vs Alicia Fox

They exchange words and shove each other before brawling and Sasha sending Alicia out of the ring. Alicia get a back in and knees Sasha in the midsection before smashing her face into the turnbuckle and slamming her down to the mat by her hair. Alicia drops Sasha with a series of forearms all the while playing to the crowd before putting her in a headlock that she's quick to get out of. Sasha comes back and tosses Alicia around the ring by her hair before Alicia asks for and is granted a time out. Once she has a moment to recover Sasha dropkicks her out of the ring and she goes ballistic as we go to commercial.

Alicia has Sasha on the top turnbuckle as we come back from commercial, then sends her off of it and to the floor before hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker when Sasha comes at her. They get back in the ring and Alicia gets a quick two count before putting Sasha in another choke hold that she quickly fights out of. Alicia dumps Sasha out of the ring through the middle rope rather unceremoniously as she's nearly counted out. Alicia hits a series of bridging suplexes for a few quick two counts, then Sasha hits a backstabber into the Banks Statement for the tap and the win.

Winner: Sasha Banks via submission

-We get an extended video package for Kurt Angle before Seth and Dean are interviewed via satellite.

Main Show

Asuka vs Emma

Emma avoids Asuka and plays to the crowd once the match starts before Asuka takes her down and locks in an armbar. Emma is quick to the ropes for the break before they get back to their feet and exchange wrist and head locks. Emma slaps Asuka before Asuka drops her with a running hip attack and locks in an ankle lock. Emma kicks Asuka away and out of the ring before sending her into the barricade and playing to the crowd. Emma rolls Asuka back into the ring and gets a quick two count before Asuka comes back with a series of kicks only for Emma to slam her down by her hair for another quick two count.

Emma puts Asuka in the tree of woe before kicking and choking her and finishing up with a sliding cross body for a near fall. Asuka fights out of a full nelson before getting a near fall off of a roll up and immediately following up into a shining wizard. Asuka kicks Emma repeatedly before hitting a missile dropkick, but Emma quickly comes back with a forearm to the back of Asuka's head that drops her. Asuka locks in an ankle lock that Emma tries to fight out of repeatedly before Asuka hits a release German suplex that sends Emma out of the ring. Emma grabs Asuka from the outside and sends her onto the floor before rolling her back into the ring only for Asuka to hit her with a roundhouse kick and lock in the Asuka Lock for the tap and the win.

Winner: Asuka via submission

-Elias comes out and plays a song before he's interrupted by Jason Jordan as we go to commercial.

Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick vs Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann

Swann and Kendrick start the match off before Kendrick quickly tags Jack in after hitting a drop toe hold into the bottom turnbuckle. Swann drops Jack repeatedly before Kendrick get a blind tag and is sent out of the ring when he and Jack try and double team him. Cedric and Swann hit double topes to the outside before getting back in the ring and Cedric drops Kendrick with a chop. Swann tags in and he and Cedric double team Kendrick for a quick two count before Kendrick tags Jack in after he distracts Swann. Jack puts Swann in a cravat that he's quick to get out of before Kendrick and Jack start tagging in and out. 

Cedric gets tagged in after a while and hits a hand spring roundhouse kick and a flying clothesline off of the top before Kendrick locks in the Captain's Hook. Swann breaks it up with a splash, then Cedric hits Kendrick with the Lumbar Check for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rich Swann & Cedric Alexander via pinfall

WWE RAW Women's Championship Match

Alexa Bliss (c) vs Mickie James

They lock up to start the match before exchanging wrist and headlocks and Mickie hits a bridging suplex for a quick two count. Alexa starts focusing on the arm of Mickie before getting a series of quick two counts, then they get into a slapping brawl until knocking each other down. They exchange forearms on their knees before getting to their feet and Mickie comes back with a series of clotheslines. Alexa hits a code red for a near fall before missing Twisted Bliss, Mickie catching her with a single leg missile dropkick for a quick two count. Alexa then hits a DDT after distracting Mickie for the pin and the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss defeats Mickie James to retain the WWE RAW Women's Championship

-Elias comes out again and tries to sing a song before he's interrupted by Jason Jordan once again. 

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match

Kalisto (c) vs Enzo Amore

Enzo uses Kalisto's aggression against him, dropping him with a back elbow before playing to the crowd. Kalisto chases Enzo around ringside before they get back in the ring only for Kalisto to send him back out if it with a roundhouse kick. Kalisto hits a tope to the outside before rolling Enzo back into the ring and Enzo yanks him off of the top rope. Enzo drops Kalisto with a right hand for a near fall before putting him in a side headlock that he fights out of twice. Kalisto hits an enzuigiri into a springboard meteora for a near fall, Enzo getting his foot on the bottom rope at the last second.

Enzo hits a DDT off of the second rope for a near fall of his own before they counter each other's finishers. Enzo then hits a variation of Eat Defeat for the pin and the win after hitting Kalisto with a foreign object.

Winner: Enzo Amore defeats Kalisto via pinfall to become a two time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

AJ Styles vs Finn Balor

They lock up to start the match for a clean break before squaring off and Finn drops AJ with flurry of offense. AJ comes back with a dropkick before Finn takes AJ down and puts him in a series of submissions until he gets to the ropes for the break. AJ hits a snap suplex before Finn backs him into the corner with a series of strikes. AJ hits the Phenomenal Forearm for a near fall before hitting a backbreaker and a series of kicks that drops Finn to the mat. AJ hits a Pele kick before Finn beats him down in the corner with a series of punches and kicks.

Finn hits an enzuigiri that sends AJ off of the top turnbuckle and to the floor before hitting a tope to the outside and onto the floor. They get back in the ring and Finn goes for a shotgun dropkick, but AJ catches him coming in adults an ushigaroshi. AJ hits a sit-out facebuster for a near fall before Finn kicks him in the face and hits a shotgun dropkick. AJ locks in the Calf Killer, but Finn fights out of it by slamming AJ's head into the mat repeatedly. Finn counters the Phenomenal Forearm by sending AJ off of the top rope and to the floor before hitting a shotgun dropkick into the barricade. 

They get back in the ring and hit a double running cross body before exchanging forearms until taking each other down with a Pele kick. They counter each other repeatedly until Finn hits a reverse DDT for a near fall. AJ misses a springboard 450 splash before Finn hits a shotgun dropkick and finishes with the Coupe de Grace for the pin and the win.

Winner: Finn Balor via pinfall

-They shake hands after the match before Too Sweeting and leaving as we go to commercial.

Jason Jordan vs Elias

They lock up to start the match for a clean break before Jason takes Elias down repeatedly until Elias gets out of the ring to regroup. Elias gets back in the ring and beats Jason down before Jordan fights out of a straight armbar. Jordan locks in a bear hug, but Elias is quick to get out of it and send Jason into the turnbuckle face first. Elias puts Jason in an abdominal stretch that he fights out of before Jason sends Elias out of the ring. Jason comes back with an overhead belly to belly suplex and a spear in the corner for a near fall.

Jason puts Elias on the top turnbuckle before Elias fights him off and tosses him into the corner. Jason then counters a suplex and rolls Elias up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jason Jordan via pinfall

Five on Three Handicap TLC Match

They all brawl to start the match before Dean clears the ring with a chair and the Shield beat on Kane with chairs. Dean and Seth hit a double tope to the outside before Kurt beats Braun down with a ladder. The Shield triple team Kane before doing the same to Braun and setting the two up on separate tables and Dean and Seth hitting moves off of ladders. Kurt gets triple teamed by Cesaro, Sheamus and the Miz in the ring before coming back and clearing the ring with a series of German suplexes. Braun powerslams Kurt through a table before Dean is triple teamed and rolled back into the ring.

Kurt is helped to the back as Seth and Dean are dissected by the other five men. Kane accidentally hits Braun with a chair before Braun shoves him away and Braun puts Dean through a table set up in the corner. Miz has a garbage truck come to the stage before both Dean and Seth are tossed into the back of it. Seth and Dean get out and take out everyone as Miz runs away, then they drag him out of the crowd and back up the ramp. Kane gets up and argues with Braun more before chokeslaming him off of the stage, then drops a stack of chairs onto him.

Kane chokeslams both Seth and Dean before everyone beats on Braun when he goes to attack Kane. They put Braun inside of the garbage truck before it drives off, then drag Seth back into the ring. Everyone hits their finisher on Seth before Dean breaks up a near fall, then Kurt comes back out and takes out Sheamus and Cesaro with Olympic slams. Kurt then takes out Miz before the Shield hit a double spear through the barricade before Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for a very close near fall. Miz kicks Kurt out of the ring when he goes for an ankle lock, then each of the Shield hit their finishers. They end the match with a triple powerbomb for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Shield via pinfall
