WWE has officially introduced a WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship.
The title was unveiled ahead of Monday's WWE Raw by general manager Adam Pearce. The segment was shown on the November 25th episode of WWE Raw.
Pearce said a tournament to crown the first-ever WWE Women's IC Champion will begin "next week."

WWE is set to crown the first-ever WWE Women's United States Champion at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14th.
