Four wrestlers have a chance to win Impact Wrestling gold.
Last week, X-Division champion Matt Sydal defended his title against Taiji Ishimori and now Impact Wrestling is lining up his next championship defense opponent. In the following tweet, Impact Wrestling addressed the events planned for Thursdays' episode of the television show. Ishimori, El Hijo del Fantasma, Aerostar, and Drago will be in a four-way match and the winner will be the next number one contender to the X-Division Championship.
Out of the four wrestlers competing in the number one contender's match, only Ishimori has been X-Division Champion before.
Also on Thursday will be an Impact Wrestling World Championship match between Pentagon Jr and Eli Drake who cashed in his Feast or Fired briefcase.
