Xavier Woods Advances To #1 Contender's Tournament Semifinals On 6/19 WWE Speed

Xavier Woods advances to the next round.

On the June 19 episode of WWE Speed, Xavier Woods faced Dijak in a first-round match in the #1 Contender's Tournament. Dijak overpowered Woods early on, and Woods rallied. Dijak later took control again, but the New Day member ultimately scored the win with just seconds remaining in the three-minute match, as he hit a diving elbow drop.

In the next round, Woods will face the winner of the other first-round bout, which will see Nathan Frazer face Akira Tozawa. The winner of that match will earn a shot at WWE Speed Champion Andrade.
