Yota Tsuji And Zack Sabre Jr. Advance To NJPW G1 Climax 34 Finals

Yota Tsuji and Zack Sabre Jr. will meet in the finals of the G1 Climax 34 tournament.

On August 17th on night 18 of the G1 Climax 34 tournament, the semi finals of both the A and B blocks took place.

First in the B block final, Yota Tsuji took on David Finlay in a deeply physical matchup that ended when Yota would hit the Gene Blaster on Finlay for the pinfall victory. Second, in the A Block final, Zack Sabre Jr. took on Shingo Takagi in a back and forth affair that ended with Sabre Jr. locking in a knee bar and forcing Takagi to submit, booking his place in the finals of the G1.

Sabre Jr. will look to only become the second gaijin to win the tournament, while Yota will look to win both the New Japan Cup and the G1 Climax tournament in the same year.
