WWE’s Grayson Waller comes home to PWA’s COLOSSEUM and NRL
favourite James Graham makes his fiery ring debut.

(Sydney, NSW) – Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) has unveiled a night of wrestling like never before with WWE’s Grayson Waller making his long-awaited return to Australia for PWA’s COLOSSEUM this October at Sydney’s Metro Theatre. This explosive two-day tournament featuring some the world’s best pro-wrestlers will also feature ex-NRL player and host of “The Bye Round” James Graham, as he takes up the challenge to enter the ring for the first time to prove he’s got what it takes.

The stage is set for the USA-based Grayson Waller, who began his pro-wrestling career with PWA, to battle Jimmy Townsend in an electrifying showdown in front of a full house at Sydney’s favourite rock venue on Saturday, October 12, 2024. There has been a relentless war of words between the two which has brought Waller back to his homeland to remind Townsend, who he took under his wing during his PWA days, who he is dealing with.


“I was there at your first training session, Jimmy, I saw something in you,” says Waller. “Who was it who got you backstage at WWE’s Elimination Chamber, and all you could do was wig out because you saw Logan Paul over there?! I’m not afraid of you Jimmy, I’m afraid of what I will do to you. Maybe it’s time to see if you can swim in the deep end. Be careful what you wish for!”

COLOSSEUM Sunday will see James Graham enter the ring after he got under Ricky South’s skin on an episode of his podcast. Never one to back down from a challenge, South confronted Graham and put him on notice. The ex-British international and former player for the Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra Dragons will be teaming up with Jack J. Bonza to take on Ricky South and Backman, where he will be shown no mercy. The heart of PWA’s COLOSSEUM is an eight-person elimination tournament that will culminate in the presentation of a ceremonial sword to the victor. Throwing themselves into the ring for this will be such names as Robbie Thorpe, Lena Kross, and Big Fudge. The much-anticipated PWA Heavyweight Championship belt will also be competed for in Round One with Jessica Troy defending her title against Charli Evans, who are the best of friends outside the ring and each other’s fiercest competitor inside the
ring.

PWA’s last tournament KING OF THE METRO RUMBLE was a chaotic sold-out event, which saw the action spill out of the ring to the bar and then spill outside into Sydney’s George St McDonalds.
COLOSSEUM promises even more mayhem!

Tickets are selling fast for both days of COLOSSEUM from Ticketek. Tickets are available from $39.70.

PWA’s COLOSSEUM will be held at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on October 12-13, 2024, at 624 George St, Sydney, NSW 2000, with the Saturday show starting at 8:00pm and Sunday at 4:00pm.
