Zilla Fatu: One Of My Challenges Is Separating ‘Zilla Fatu’ From ‘Umaga’s Son’

Zilla Fatu wants to change the perspective.

Zilla, the son of Eddie Fatu, also known as Umaga, continues to carve out his own path in the wrestling world, as he competes for House of Glory, Reality of Wrestling, and other promotions. Given his ties to The Bloodline, he has often been linked to WWE.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Zilla Fatu was asked to comment on his goals moving forward.

"One of my challenges right now is to separate Zilla Fatu away from ‘Umaga’s son.’ That’s what I want to solidify next year, trying to change the perspective on Samoan wrestlers. We’re not just wild. I want to be able to jump into the technical side of wrestling and show that Samoans are more than just headbangers and headbutts. Jacob (Fatu) is doing a great job doing (that). I’m happy to be here. I’m trusting the process. No rush. I’m being patient and I understand everyone has their time. Right now is not my time," Fatu said.

Fatu recently said that he would side with the OG Bloodline because he didn't like how Solo Sikoa took his dad's move. Check out his comments here.
