This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live. Tonight is set to be an action packed show as Shane McMahon returns to Smackdown! Live for the first time since his Hell in a Cell match against Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin has demanded a rematch against Sin Cara, AJ Styles will face one of the Singh brothers and what will be the repercussions following Smackdown! Live superstars showing up on RAW last night and initiating a surprise attack on the roster before Survival Series next month? -We open with an extended video package for what happened on RAW last night before Shane McMahon comes out to the ring and talks about what happened to him at WWE Hell in a Cell and about the Smackdown! Live siege of RAW last night. Shane goes on to say that though RAW were surprised last night that the Smackdown! Live roster won't be and are ready for retaliation before Sami Zayn comes out to the ring. Shane talks about how Sami got him hurt worse than it he hadn't interfered and that he added insult to injury when he pulled Kevin on top of him. Sami says that he and Kevin will be a part of the Smackdown! Live roster at Survivor Series and that Shane needs them to represent the brand at Survivor Series. Shane says that he doesn't want nor need them in the match at Survivor Series, then makes a match between him and Randy Orton where the winner will be on the team.
New Day vs Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin
Chad and Xavier start the match off with Xavier in control early before Chad tags Shelton in. Shelton and Xavier exchange hammer locks and monkey flips, both men landing on their feet before New Day double team Shelton for a quick two count. New Day start tagging in and out before Kofi is sent out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Kofi hits a DDT to Shelton as we come back from commercial, then tags know Xavier who takes out both Gable and Benjamin for a near fall. Benjamin and Gable double team Xavier for a near fall of their own before Xavier drops Shelton with a knee to the side of the head for another near fall. Shelton hits a spinebuster before Gable tags in and takes out Kofi, then Shelton hits an enzuigiri when Xavier runs the ropes and Chad covers him for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable via pinfall
-We get a Fashion Police segment based on Reservoir Dogs.
Baron Corbin vs Kalisto
Corbin tosses Sin in the corner and splashes him before tossing him across the ring and stepping on him. Sin Cara sends Corbin out of the ring before hitting a tope to the outside, then a missile dropkick once they're back in the ring for a near fall. Corbin then beats on Sin Cara in the corner until the official is forced to call for the bell.
Winner: Sin Cara via disqualification
-Jinder Mahal comes out to the ring and talks about Brock Lesnar and their match at Survivor Series before being interrupted by AJ Styles.
AJ Styles vs Sunil Singh
AJ takes out the other brother at ringside after Jinder is barred from ringside, then locks in the Calf Killer for the tap and the win.
Winner: AJ Styles via submission
Women's Fatal Five Way Match
Everyone brawls to start the match before Tamina clears the ring as we go to commercial.
They brawl at ringside as we come back from commercial,, then Carmella gets a series of two counts off of Becky before Becky locks in the Disarmer for the tap and the win.
Winner: Becky Lynch via submission and will lead team Smackdown! Live for the womens side.
Randy Orton vs Sami Zayn
They lock up twice to start the match, both times for a clean break before Randy beats on Sami when he mocks him, then sends him out of the ring. Sami then hits a moonsault off of the barricade and plays to the crowd when Randy whips him into it as we go to commercial.
Sami dropkicks Randy as we come back from commercial, then Randy drops him onto the top rope before dropping him repeatedly with clotheslines and hitting a powerslam. Randy goes for the draping DDT, but Sami sees it coming and yanks him out of the ring only for Randy to back drop him onto the announce table. They get back in the ring and Randy gets a near fall before hitting a fall away slam for another near fall. Sami hits a diving cross body off of the top turnbuckle for a quick two count before getting a near fall on a back slide when countering an RKO. Sami gets caught on the top turnbuckle and superplexed for a near fall before they get out of the ring and Sami sends Randy into the ring post.
Sami hits a DDT through the ropes onto the floor before getting back into the ring, Randy getting back in at the last second. Sami then misses the Helluva Kick and Randy hits the draping DDT before Kevin Owens comes out and interferes. Randy then low blows Sami when Kevin is arguing with the official and hits an RKO for the pin and the win.
Winner: Randy Orton via pinfall to gain a spot on the Smackdown! Live team at Survivor Series
