AJ Styles is excited to see his former boss being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
It was recently announced that Impact Wrestling co-founder and former WWE star, Jeff Jarrett, was going to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Many of Jarrett's former employees; names like Samoa Joe, Eric Young and Bobby Roode have all contributed to Jarrett's success as a businessman. But one man, who was known as "Mr. Total Nonstop Action" and the face of the show, is excited to see Jarrett getting inducted into the Hall and that man is none other than the "Phenomenal One" AJ Styles.
WWE caught up with the current WWE Champion and asked him to reflect on the announcement of "Double J"'s induction.
"When I heard that Jeff Jarrett was being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, I was super excited. I am so excited for him. Listen, Jeff started in the WWE, there were a few other things before that, but WWE is where he made a name for himself I think. I’ve worked with Jeff a lot, I’ve gotten to know Jeff personally so with everything that he has done for me personally, I can’t help but be excited for him and proud that he’s going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.”
While AJ Styles was making a name for himself as one of the best professional wrestlers in the world in TNA, under Jarrett, AJ became a 3-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a 2-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and would become the inaugural X Division Champion which he would hold six times.
Jarrett has also spoken very highly of AJ Styles in an recent interview; click here to take a look at that.
