Alejandro Perez Injured; Off TUF 24 Finale

Alejandro Perez has suffered an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale. He was scheduled to face Rob Font.

Font is expected to remain on the card at this moment as UFC officials are currently seeking a replacement to face him on short notice.

Font (12-2-0) has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating both George Roop and Joey Gomez respectively. Font is also a longtime veteran of the CES MMA promotion, where six of his twelve professional MMA fights happened at. During his time as an amateur fighter, Font captured the Cage Titans Bantamweight Title, he turned pro shortly after winning the championship. Outside of a loss to John Lineker at UFC 1988, the only other defeat that Perez suffered as a pro came to former Titan Fighting Championships Featherweight Champion Desmond Green.

UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale takes place on Saturday, December 3 from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada with UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson and the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 reality show headlining. The main card of this event will be airing on Fox Sports 1.
