Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping announced a few months back that his retirement bout could be happening this March at UFC Fight Night London.
While nothing has been made official by the UFC, plenty of fighters would probably like to throw their names in the hat to be the former champions final opponent.
One of those fighters is fellow middleweight Brad Tavares, who made his intentions known via Twitter:
What's up @bisping I know you're looking for a fight in England. Respectfully, I would like to share the octagon with you, and show the English fans how Hawaiians get down!!! @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 @ufc
— Brad Tavares (@BradTavares) January 5, 2018
Bisping is going to be entering his retirement bout on a two fight losing skid, dropping fights to former UFC Middleweight/Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre and TUF champion Kelvin Gastelum.
Tavares on the other hand is currently in the midst of a three fight winning streak and his last defeat came to UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker at UFC Fight Night 65.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 17 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with broadcast plans not yet announced.
