CHRIS JERICHO GETS FREAKED OUT
WHEN FANS KNOW WHAT FLIGHT HE'S ON
BECAUSE HE IS A NORMAL HUMAN BEING
AND THAT IS A JUSTIFIABLE THING TO BE FREAKED OUT BY

Word to the wise, all you people who stake out airports to meet your heroes when they get off the plane. If your hero is Chris Jericho, it freaks him out, and he's putting you on The List in his mind.

Jericho, erstwhile WWE Superstar and current Rock God, was a guest on the Bailey & Southside radio show on 100.5 in Atlanta, (you can watch the full interview at the bottom of the page) and he talked about how he gets more than a little weirded out by fans who somehow know which flight he's going to be on and greet him at the airport.

“It always freaks me out whenever you fly to a town, right, specifically with  wrestling, you’ll fly somewhere and you’ll get to, like, Peoria, Illinois, you get off the plane and there’s like a gaggle of fans there waiting for you. They want an autograph, ‘Sign my picture,’ ‘Sign my action figure,’ whatever. And I’m always like, ‘How do you guys know what flight I’m on?’ This is not a group flight. Like, I missed my flight and I had to get another one and I had to go through whatever and there's still the same people there."

Think about that for a second. Jericho was supposed to be on one flight, missed it, got another, later, TOTALLY DIFFERENT flight, and the action-figure-autograph hounds were STILL there to meet him when he got to, like, Peoria, Illinois.

How does something like that even happen?

Well, Y2J has a theory:

"Somewhere out there, there’s some kind of a stooge that’s giving out what flight number I’m on.”

Hey. Stooge. Stop doing that.

You know who you are.
