UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since defeating Dominick Cruz for the title at UFC 207.
However, it would appear that a return for the fight is forthcoming, as he has claimed that a bout against former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw is set for UFC 217.
Garbrandt made the announcement through Twitter:

Neither Dillashaw or the UFC have announced anything on their end regarding the potential bout at UFC 217.
Dillashaw and Garbrandt were initially slated to meet earlier this year at UFC 213, but the champion pulled out of the bout due to a back injury.
Recently, the UFC Bantamweight Champion has expressed interest in returning to action at UFC 217 and it would appear that he got his wish.
UFC 217 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Michael Bisping and Georges St. Pierre headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
