"There's a few bombshells I wanted to hit, but then it was like 'will I do it or will I don't do it'. I have a few announcements, One announcement is I'm going to be a daddy early next year. I am crapping me jocks I'm not going to lie. I don't what way to take it. It's kinda messing with me head. I don't want to bring any children into anything like this. I don't want any celebrity type shit, I hate all that. I don't want my family to be like that. That's kinda a little thing in the back of me head. I'm just gonna have this baby, take a little bit of time and see what way I feel after that," said McGregor.

His new family feeds into McGregor's hunger for a bigger slice of UFC's financial pie. After a successful 2016 and with a child coming in 2017, Conor McGregor says he's ready to wait.

"They got to come talk to me now, that's all I know. I've got both belts, a chunk of money, a little family on the way. Do you want me to stick around? Do you want me to keep doing what I'm doing? Let's talk," said McGregor.

His child is due in May 2017 according to Devlin. McGregor also stated he had no idea when he would fight again or at which weight class. He says he wants an equity stake in the UFC before he fights again.
