Raymond Rowe isn't under WWE contract, but he has an up-close-and-personal perspective on what it's like at the WWE Performance Center.
Rowe is dating Sarah Logan, who signed with WWE almost a year ago. Logan was known as Crazy Mary Dobson on the independent circuit. While she works under the NXT brand both at the Performance Center and at live events for that WWE brand, Rowe has been busy traveling the world as one half of War Machine, a tag team pairing with Hanson that has won gold in both Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
"She gets the perspective of me in Japan and I get the perspective of her in the Performance Center … it's a good place to be for both of us,” Rowe said during his exclusive interview with Fightful.com.
Logan has made just a few appearances on NXT television since she signed with WWE, but that's about to change. She was announced on June 16 as one of the first four competitors officially named as part of the field for the Mae Young Classic, WWE's women's division tournament. The first rounds of matches for that tournament will be taped July 13-14 at Full Sail University.
Rowe noted it was "100 percent" easier being in a relationship where both people are part of the wrestling business.
"It's nice having someone to work with, instead of fight against, when it comes to wrestling and the lifestyle and the travel,” Rowe said.
