Floyd Mayweather Takes Shot At Conor McGregor, UFC Star Responds

Floyd Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor battled in the boxing ring this past August, with Mayweather walking away with a tenth round TKO win.

McGregor has since gone onto find himself in some trouble in his native Ireland with the Kinahan cartel after allegedly slugging an associate of the cartel in a bar room brawl.

Mayweather has now taken to Twitter to take a shot at McGregor and the supposed bounty placed on his head:

 

Not one to shy away from a Twitter battle, a response was issued by McGregor a short time later:

 

The UFC Lightweight Champion also responded to Mayweather via Twitter:

A rematch between McGregor and Mayweather seems highly unlikely at this point, especially since Mayweather retired right after the super fight.

However, UFC President Dana White did say he was negotiating with Mayweather for some UFC appearances, but nothing has been mentioned since.
