Controversial former NFL football player (for the Dallas Cowboys) Greg Hardy is set to make his amateur MMA debut on Saturday, November 4 at the Rise Of A Warrior 21 event in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Hardy made the announcement himself through Twitter:

There is no word at this time as to who the former NFL star will fight in his amateur debut.
The former football player was convicted of domestic violence during his playing days, but those charges were later dropped.
UFC President Dana White was asked about Hardy competing in the UFC last October, the UFC President said that he doubts Hardy would ever make it to the promotion.
American Top Team is where Hardy has been training at for over a year now, and there were reports at one time stating that the former football player had been sleeping at the gym while training to become an MMA fighter.
Rise Of A Warrior 21 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from the Havert L. Finn Center in Fort Pierce, Florida with Greg Hardy and an opponent to be named in the main event.
