Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Added To UFC Fight Night Norfolk

A heavyweight division clash is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Norfolk as #11 Andrei Arlovski is in action against #12 Junior Albini.

Arlovski (25-15-0-1NC) will enter the fight on a five fight losing streak and he hasn’t earned a victory in over two years. Arlovski’s last win in the UFC came over former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir at UFC 191 in September 2015, that win came by way of unanimous decision. Arlovski won the UFC Heavyweight Title over a decade ago at UFC 51, when he submitted Tim Sylvia in the first round.

Albini (14-2-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Timothy Johnson by TKO at UFC On Fox 25. Albini will also enter the fight riding a ten fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost five years. Albini has only seen just two of his sixteen professional MMA fights go the distance and it has been over a year since the last time he went all three rounds.

UFC Fight Night Norfolk takes place on Saturday, November 11 from the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia with Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
