Tonight on RAW, The New Day came to the ring and issued an open challenge.
And that's when we heard this:
And with that, the two time NXT Tag Team Champions, The Revival, are now on RAW. The Revival are legendary in the WWE's developmental brand for having brilliant Match of the Year quality tilts against American Alpha and DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa). Just this past Saturday night, they had an amazing match against DIY and current NXT Tag Champs The Authors of Pain.
Tonight, they won their debut match against the record-holders for longest reigning tag champs, and they did it with their high-impact double team finisher, The Shatter Machine.
Then, following their victory, they had the audacity to try and permanently injure Kofi Kingston, who wasn't even competing in the match.
In other words, business as usual for the former "Top Guys" in NXT, the team that many have referred to as the "Greatest Tag Team In The World."
The Tag Division on Raw got BROKEN last night, and tonight, it just got SHATTERED.
