Jim Ross Says He's Excited For Women's Money In The Bank Match

Jim Ross says the women's Money in the Bank match might set the pace for the pay-per-view.

Last week, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon made a historical announcement of the first-ever Women's Money in the Bank match.  Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Tamina, and Carmella will face off in the ladder match, with the winner receiving a contract to challenge the champion whenever they wish.  In a recent blog, Jim Ross said he is excited for the historical match.

"Arguably, today I'm more excited to see the women's (Money in the Bank) bout than the men's in a few weeks essentially because of the unique nature of this match being the first ever Women's MITB match ever. I see these athletic women perceiving this booking as very personal and one can only hope that they are discerning about whey they want to do in this match and remember that their safety should never be compromised which is largely up to the talents in the match," wrote Ross.

On the same night, six men will meet in a Money in the Bank match. Ross said the men will have to perform well to match the level of the women's match.

"The Gents in their TLC bout better lace them up tight or they could be outperformed by the women here," wrote Ross.
