OUT OF THE PEN WITH THE BIG HOG!
Where Sean Ross Sapp rips off his associate editor's writing style to stretch out a John Cena article!
What do John Cena and Toyota Camry's have in common?
Yeah, I got nothing. Maybe they've both been hundreds of thousands of miles or something? They last forever?
Anyway, Toyota unveiled a new commercial last week featuring John Cena's theme song "My Time Is Now" from a platinum selling-album of the same name. It doesn't just feature the highly disputed introductory sound effect used in the beginning of M.O.P's "Ante Up," but the full theme, including John Cena lyrics.
That isn't a Toyota in the thumbnail or video above, if you couldn't tell.
Cena is nowhere to be seen in the commercial itself, which you can see at this link.
Not that this has anything to do with anything, but Cena has to be the first platinum album selling, WWE Champion who has appeared in a number one movie. Right?
Cena is no stranger to being featured in commercials, as he's appeared in both Hefty Trash Bags and Pistachio ad spots over the past year alone. This in addition to his duties as a WWE Superstar, and actor. Oh yeah, he's also a reality TV star, as he's a cast member of Total Bellas, and a recurring cast member on Total Divas. He should really do something with his life.
I'm also positive that John Cena forgot Toyota even existed at least a decade ago. Do you remember that turdy "My Life, My Rules" DVD WWE put out like 8 years ago? His car collection was eccentric to say the least.
Welp, here we are. I got to 300 words for SEO purposes. Waddup.
You can see Cena as he takes on Roman Reigns on September 24 at WWE No Mercy. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage of the show!
