If Jon Jones is to be believed, he could be back in the UFC cage soon
Jones posted a video on Instagram Sunday afternoon, updating his fans on how he's been doing since testing positive for clomiphene last month ahead of UFC 200.
"Hey Bones Jones supporters, if there are any of you left out there. I've been doing good, training, spending time with my family, attacking some of these legal issues I've gotten myself into. Trying to leave that all behind once and for all," Jones said.
Then Jones dropped a bombshell....sort of. The current UFC interim Light Heavyweight Champion mentioned his United States Anti Doping Agency violation, but provided a vague update that many weren't expecting.
"I'm sure you guys are curious about this USADA situation. Obviously, I can't get into it because it's still pending, but what I can say is we have found out lots of really good news, and I'm expecting to be back in the Octagon really soon," said Jones.
Jones said that he hoped to see fans soon and wished them well before bidding them adieu.
The former undisputed champion Jones has been temporarily suspended, and will have a hearing later this year to determine additional disciplinary action. Jones was flagged for a potential USADA violation in relations to a June 18 out-of-competition test, and was removed from his UFC 200 main event against Daniel Cormier.
