Adam Borics Faces Manuel Gaxhja At Bellator 196

Adam Borics was pulled from the Bellator 196 main event after the injury to James Gallagher, but the fighter will remain on the card to face Manuel Gaxhja in the co-main event of the card.

Borics (6-0-0) has competed just once in the Bellator MMA promotion, defeating Anthony Taylor by first round submission at Bellator 177. Borics is also returning to action for the first time in almost a year, as his last battle at Bellator 177 took place on April of 2017. Borics also competed in the Final Fight Championships promotion, winning two of the three fights there by way of decision.

Gaxhja (3-0-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost two years. Gaxhja has competed twice in the MMA Challenge Pro promotion, defeating both Anestis Igiagbor and Vasilis Velicianos. Gaxhja also competed twice as an amateur MMA fighter, with both of those bouts happening in the same MMA Challenge Pro organization.

Bellator 196 takes place on Friday, April 6 from the Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, Hungary with Ben Henderson and Roger Huerta headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on the Paramount Network.
