A bantamweight brawl has been added to UFC Fight Night: Hall vs. Silva as Adrian Yanez faces Aaron Phillips.
The news was revealed during the Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 29 broadcast.
Yanez (11-3-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so while riding a four-fight win streak. Yanez competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 28, defeating Brady Huang by first round TKO. Yanez has picked up six of 11 professional MMA wins by KO/TKO.
Phillips (12-4-0) is winless thus far in his second UFC run, having dropped a bout to Jack Shore at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige. Phillips also went winless during his first UFC run, dropping bouts to the duo of Sam Sicilia and Matt Hobar. Phillips has picked up half of his professional MMA wins by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Hall vs. Silva takes place on Saturday, October 31. Anderson Silva is expected to engage in his retirement fight against Uriah Hall. Broadcast plans have not been revealed but Fightful will provide live coverage.
