Alexander Volkanovski vs. Max Holloway III Booked For UFC 276 in July

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, and former champ Max Holloway will meet for a third time at UFC 276 on July 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Journalist Ariel Helwani was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works via a tweet, although the promotion is yet to officially announce anything regarding the event or bout themselves. The pair were originally slated to complete their trilogy back at UFC 272 in March, but Holloway was forced to withdraw from the matchup after reaggravating an old injury just days after accepting the fight. Volkanovski is currently riding an insane 21-fight winning streak that dates back to December 2013 and is coming off of a fourth-round TKO victory over Chan Sung Jung at UFC 273 in his latest title defense. Holloway meanwhile is on a two-fight winning streak after dropping consecutive losses to Volkanovski and defeated Yair Rodriguez via a unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 42 in his most recent Octagon outing.
