UFC fighter Andrea Lee was the victim of domestic abuse from her husband, Donny Aaron, who has yet to turn himself into authorities for those actions. Fellow MMA fighter Andy Nguyen originally reported Aaron to the police, who fled from the scene before they had arrived.
Lee has been mum since the incident occurred, but has finally decided to break her silence on the matter.
It was through Twitter that Lee made the statement:
#healing #unbroken #cantbebroken #strongerthanever #illbeback #mentallystrongerthanyallevenknow

An arrest warrant has been issued by the authorities for Aaron, who remains at large as of this writing.
Reports have surfaced saying that Aaron and his father are hiding in the state of Georgia, but that hasn't been confirmed at this time. This is not the first time that Aaron has faced scrutiny, as MMA fans pointed out pictures of him with swastika tattoos, but Lee defended Aaron at that time.
The female fighting star was last seen in action at UFC Fight Night Chile, defeating Veronica Macedo by unanimous decision. There has been no comment from the UFC on the matter and it is unknown as to when Lee is going to step back into the Octagon.
