Angela Hill Talks Journey Back To UFC

Angela Hill returns to the UFC this weekend at UFC Fight Night 104, where she faces top 10 ranked Jessica Andrade, the fight will be kicking off the main card on Fox Sports 1.

Hill, who gave up the Invicta Fighting Championships Strawweight Title to return to the UFC, is simply happy to be back.

“It was kind of a backward journey,” Hill said to MMA Junkie. “Usually people do Invicta or get more fans first, but I feel like I was able to earn a lot of respect from people who maybe before felt like I didn’t deserve to be in the UFC.”

Andrade is currently undefeated a s strawweight in the UFC, but Hill thinks there is a path to victory for herself this Saturday Night.

“This is a really winnable fight for me, and Andrade is ranked so high as a strawweight,” she said. “It’s going to be a really great start for me, and then just make a huge splash in 2017.”

UFC Fight Night 104 takes place on Saturday, February 4 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with Dennis Bermudez and Chan Sung Jung headlining, the main card will be airing live on Fox Sports 1.
