Angela Hill Wants UFC To Change Costume Policy

Former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion Angela Hill picked up her second UFC win at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale, defeating Ashley Yoder by decision.

Hill had decided to wear a Black Panther costume to the ceremonial weigh-ins for the TUF 25 Finale and the UFC wouldn’t allow it. Now the victorious Hill wants the promotion to possibly rethink their costume policy for future events.

“It would be nice if they could lax on it a little bit so the fighters could try to build some hype for it,” Hill told MMA Junkie. “I feel like doing something interesting like that is going to reach more people than just trying to mean mug and push your opponent and hit them before you’re actually fighting the next day. Or at least different fans from that.”

The victory for Hill was the first in the UFC since she defeated Emily Kagan at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale.

Even though she wants to policy changed, the fighter knows that she has to “play the game” with the UFC.

“You’ve got to play the game and do what you’re told and all that fun boring stuff,” he said. “I guess we’ll have to wait and see.”

Despite the fact that the UFC wouldn’t allow her to wear her Black Panther, the fighter still gave fans a peek of what she was going to wear on her Instagram:
