It was recently revealed that a VADA drug test conducted on UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones on the eve of UFC 232 came up positive for the same long term metabolite found in previous tests.
Jones is potentially going to be defending the title against Anthony Smith this March at UFC 235, pending the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) granting Jones a license to fight in the state.
Smith has gotten word of the test result for Jones and simply doesn’t care, which is what he recently revealed on Twitter:
If you’re hitting me up about this, don’t. I truly dont care. Picograms, no picograms, Olympic sized swimming pools, grains of salt ----... I couldn’t care any less. I signed on the line and did it knowing what I was signing up for and with no expectations. I’m good, y’all. ---- https://t.co/GnQQ6diow6

There is going to be no punishment handed to Jones for the positive drug test result by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) since he was already punished for it previously.
UFC 235 takes place on Saturday, March 2 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Anthony Smith potentially headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
