UFC lightweight contenders Arman Tsarukyan and Joel Alvarez are set to collide at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on February 26.
MMA reporter Igor Lazorin was the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion has yet to confirm anything itself. Tsarukyan is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off of a first-round TKO victory over Christos Giagos at UFC Vegas 37. Alvarez meanwhile is also on a four-fight winning streak of his own currently and defeated Thiago Moises via a first-round TKO at UFC Vegas 42 in his most recent Octagon appearance.
