Marcin Prachnio is injured and will not be challenging Vitaly Bigdash for the middleweight title at One Championships 51, Aung La N Sang will come in on late notice to now fight the champion.
Bigdash (7-0-0) will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Igor Svirid at One Championships: Tigers Of Asia. Bigdash is a longtime veteran of the Pro FC promotion out of Russia, where five of his seven pro victories came at. Bigdash will be returning to action for the first time in well over a year due to injuries, he last competed in October 2015.
N Sang (19-9-0) will enter the fight riding a four fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over three years. N Sang has gone 0-3-0 against UFC veterans, dropping fights to UFC veterans Uriah Hall, Costas Philippou and Jonavin Webb. It has been nine years since N Sang last saw one of his fights go to the judge’s scorecards, that fight came at a 2007 Cage Fighting Championships event.
One Championships 51 takes place on Saturday, January 14 from the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia with Vitaly Bigdash and Aung Le N Sang headlining.
