Former light heavyweight champion Badou Jack was unable to talk to the media after his fight against Marcus Browne, but eventually was able to explain his side of the story regarding the bout.
Jack was unable to be reached after losing to Browne on the co-main event of the January 19 Showtime pay-per-view card from Las Vegas. Jack would suffer a horrendous cut in the seventh round, bleeding profusely throughout the remainder of the fight, losing by unanimous decision.
Days after the fight ended, Jack and Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe hosted a conference call in which only a select few media outlets was invited. Fightful took part of the conference call and compiled a Twitter thread, which can be seen below, of some of the noteworthy things said. Some of the topics discussed include Jack's cut across his forehead, when will he return to action and traveling to the Middle East for his humanitarian work.
