Daniel Cormier Defends "Biased Commentary" Claims Against Him From UFC 259
Many people had issues with the commentary from the UFC 259 main event where Jan Blachowitz defeated Israel Adesanya. Fans believed Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier were much too biased in Adesanya's favor. A fan tweeted DC about his thought on the "extremely biased" commentary and DC defended himself after he rewatched the event.
I just rewatched. I don’t agree at all. I was actually speaking to Jan and the times he was successful. I had fight 2-2 going into 5 and after watching it again I feel same way. Nothing changed. And btw Jan did bite on a ton of fakes and feints. Izzy didn’t capitalize https://t.co/WTvZ8G0Y4o

It seems that all anyone could talk about after UFC Vegas 21 was the eye poke in the main event and what should be done about it. Sterling says changing the glove design would be a huge improvement. Many fans noted that MMA coach Trevor Whitman has designed a glove with curved finger slots that significantly reduces the chance of a severe eye poke.
