Bellator 160 was billed as having a 'superfight' main event, but it didn't end up living up to the hype.
Former UFC Lightweight Champion Ben Henderson defeated former Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Pitbull after a checked kick injured Pitbull. This came after a full, inactive first round that left fans in the arena booing in disappointment.
After the bout, it was announced that Ben Henderson would take on Michael Chandler on November 19, the same day that UFC has two fight cards scheduled.
Elsewhere on the card, highly touted prospect AJ McKee submitted Cody Walker, and Georgi Karakhanyan continued to have Bubba Jenkins' number, knocking him out in the first round. Lyoto Machida's brother Chinzo also scored a first round TKO victory over Marlo Navarro.
