Ben Affleck Wants To See Conor McGregor/Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fight

Ben Affleck is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood right now, with his film The Accountant recently being released on blu-ray, DVD and digital download. Affleck, who is one of 23 celebrities to own a portion of the UFC, would love to see UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor take on Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the boxing ring.

“I’m a big Conor McGregor fan,” Affleck told Independent.ie. “I think he’s very impressive and someone was saying he’s going to fight (Floyd) Mayweather. That would be an amazing fight. I guess they’ll have to work a deal out, or whatever, but that would be cool.”

Affleck, in a 2016 interview, revealed that he modeled some of Batman’s fighting style from the film Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice on the way McGregor fights.

“He's a little bit more of a brawler. You kind of get a feeling like physical, visceral slugger thing. The fights are more like smash-mouth, kind of UFC-influenced. Like Conor McGregor style,” said Affleck.

Affleck’s latest film, Live By Night, was just released in theaters on January 13, while his next film, Justice League, will be released later this year in theaters nationwide. He will again be portraying Batman in the film.
