The UFC veteran went for a takedown early in the contest and instead of scoring said takedown, wound up knocking himself and Azargam off the stage.

UFC Fight Pass provided the highlight of the scary situation through Twitter:

Neither Henderson or his opponent suffered any injuries due to the scary fall off the stage.

After the bout concluded, a happy Henderson said the following to the crowd and to those watching on UFC Fight Pass:

“I did this for you guys, to come and entertain you guys. The new AJ, we all know it’s an act. He does it OK. Even though he may lose, lose and lose and lose. But you have to back it up on the mat.”

Other notables who competed on the Polaris 6 card include WSOF/PFL fighter Jake Shields, UFC veteran Marcin Held and Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion Chris Fishgold.
