“I was going to give up,” Scott said after his fight. “It’s just a relief. There was a lot of pressure. I was going give it up, but I’m so glad I didn’t. I dug deep and managed to get the win.”

Scott has now won three of his six fights under the UFC banner. With his newfound passion for fighting, the TUF alumni doesn’t even care of he dies in the Octagon.

“I don’t care who I fight (or) where I fight,” he said. “I just need to rest up (and) get my shoulder ready. I’ve got no fear. If I die in there, I die.”

Outside of the victory over Askham, the TUF Smashes finalist also holds victories in the UFC over Michael Kuiper and Dylan Andrews. The next fight will be a crucial one for Scott, no matter whom it comes against because he will either have a winning record or his losing record in the UFC depending on the outcome of said fight.
