In his post fight interview, the former UFC Flyweight Champion noted his joy about the fight, and said he enjoyed it a lot.

"Man, I have a lot of different things to say. First of all okay, brother, I feel amazing. I feel fantastic. I feel like a new guy, a new person. I knew I need all these months just resting with my family and be back like tonight, you know? I just feel amazing. Man, this is the kind of performance I can show in the match, in the practice. I was saying this in all the five weeks in the interviews, like, my team and I, we feel a little bit frustrated because we don't have the opportunity to show this kind of performance in my last fight. But, man, today was amazing. Canada, I hope you enjoyed this stuff, man, because I enjoyed it too much as well."

Moreno scored two 50-45's and a 49-46 on the judges scorecards.
