“It was really strange,” Johns told MMA Junkie. “I’ve lost an hour of memory after the Belfast fight. People say it’s a punch to the head. It’s not because of the punches.”

At UFC Fight Night 99, the Wales native defeated Ian Entwistle by decision. Following his successful UFC debut, the fighter admits that more fans are starting to look up to him.

“It just shows that a lot of people are looking up and they want me to do well,” he said. “That stuff feeds my fire in the fight.”

Prior to signing with the UFC in 2016, the undefeated fighter held the Titan Fighting Championships Bantamweight Title and the Cage Warriors Bantamweight Title, he gave up both titles upon signing with the promotion.

UFC Fight Night 107 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from The 02 in London, England with Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson headlining. Fightful will provide live coverage of the event, which will be airing live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
