Brian Ortega vs. Chan Sung Jung Headlines UFC Fight Night Busan

The main event for the upcoming UFC Fight Night Busan card has been announced by the UFC as #2 Brian Ortega is going to be in action against #6 Chan Sung Jung.

Ortega (14-1-0-1NC) is going to be competing for the first time since losing a title shot to UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway at UFC 231. Ortega is also going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, as the bout at UFC 231 took place in December of 2018. Ortega has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those wins came by way of submission.

Jung (15-5-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, with the latest bout being a first round TKO win over Renato Moicano at UFC Fight Night Greenville. Jung has previously challenged for the UFC Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163. Jung is headlining his sixth straight UFC card, holding a 3-2-0 record in those previous five main event appearances.

UFC Fight Night Busan takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea with Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
