Brian Stann has been a fixture in the MMA scene for quite awhile now, as he is a former World Extreme Cagefighting Light Heavyweight Champion and a longtime UFC fighter.
Since retiring a in 2013 after a loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC On Fuel TV 8, the military veteran has been seen in the commentary booth calling a plethora of UFC events.
However, the longtime fighter and color commentator is no longer calling fights for the UFC because he is taking a job as a COO of a real estate firm.
Stann made the announcement via Twitter and Instagram:

The retired fighter did say he is done “calling fights” for the UFC, so it is unknown at this time if he will take some other role within the promotion.
