Casey Kenney Replaces Miles Johns, Faces Vince Cachero For Interim Bantamweight Title At LFA 62

LFA Bantamweight Champion Miles Johns has suffered an injury and has been pulled from Legacy Fighting Alliance 62, replacing him against Vince Cachero for the newly created interim bantamweight title is going to be LFA Interim Flyweight Champion Casey Kenney.

Kenney (10-1-1) captured the LFA Interim Flyweight Title at LFA 53 in November of 2018, defeating Brandon Royval by unanimous decision. Kenney is looking to make LFA history in the bout, as a win would make him the first fighter in the LFA to simultaneously hold two belts in two different weight classes. Kenney competed twice on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, defeating CJ Hamilton on Episode 2 and losing to Adam Antolin on Episode 8.

Cachero (6-0-0) has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in the LFA, last defeating Joe Murphy by unanimous decision at LFA 54. Cachero has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of decision. Cachero also won four of five fights as an amateur MMA competitor and all of those victories have come by way of decision.
